Era: real vs fake

The Era’s heel collar is built from several soft layers of fabric for extra cushioning – on retail pairs those layers are stitched down neatly and lie flat. Reps sew the layers sloppily, with uneven or skipped stitching between them.

Outsole pattern and print
The waffle tread is crisp across the whole sole, and the “vans off the wall” sidewall print is even. On reps the pattern is blurry, the print uneven, and the glue line to the upper untidy.
