What this document covers
It covers use of the website legitcheck-ai.com. Subscriptions, payments and app rules are outside it: purchases happen inside the App Store and Google Play and are governed by those platforms.
What the website offers
- Reference material on the signs of counterfeits across 11 categories.
- Four free decoders: Louis Vuitton date codes, Chanel serial numbers, Rolex serials, Nike style codes.
- There is no sign-up, no payment and no account on this website.
What the decoders actually check
They check the format of a code, not the authenticity of an item. A correctly formatted code does not rule out a fake: modern replicas copy valid numbers. An incorrect format is a reason to look closer rather than a verdict, because complete official tables do not exist for most brands, and ours are not complete either.
What we do not promise
- Neither the material on this site nor the result of a check is a professional appraisal, a valuation or a legal opinion.
- A result from photographs is a probability estimate, not a guarantee.
- We do not issue paperwork for a dispute with a seller or for a refund.
- The buying decision remains yours, and this website carries no responsibility for it.
